Hello beautiful Highlites! Man, it’s been a minute. I hope everyone is doing great. The week of June 26th thru July 1st was our scheduled Girl’s Getaway.

I received so many messages from so many women with questions about the trip: How we planned it, where they could find more pictures of the fun times and how to put one together themselves — so I decided to blog about it.

Ladies, I’m telling you if this isn’t something you don’t do then I suggest that you start doing it ASAP. There are so many benefits to getting away from the daily happenings in your life.

This trip was so fun! St. Maarten is a poor country still recovering from the hurricane that happened in 2017. But there is beauty within the Island.

The island is split down the middle. One side is the Dutch side (better known as the poor side and there is the French side (known as the rich side).

Each side has its on government, water company and language — it was so educational to tour the island and learn about both sides.

There was so much to do in St Maarten but, shopping is a girl’s #1 thing to do. We went to Phillipsburg to shop. We took a boat to Anguilla for the day, it was so beautiful.

But, most questions about the trip was how it came about, the organization, The coordinator of the trip and did I know all the women.

When we started the trip, I didn’t know all the women. But by the end of the trip I knew them all.

This group has been traveling for some years, they have traveled places like Aruba, Jamaica, Hawaii just to name a few.

The coordinator set everything up from the hotel, the tours, the T-shirts, the sailor hats, the ride to and from the airport, to dinners, to the boat ride, to the outfits we wore for each photo shoot.

She was very organized. For a trip with so many women there was no drama! Just women getting away for fun, laughter, food and socializing.

I hoped I answered some of the questions that was sent to me. I could go on and on about the trip but not enough time. And there are so many photos that I could share but not enough space. The fashion, the sundresses , the sandals were perfect for this trip.

Again ladies this is a must do. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Xoxo
