Hello Highlites. I shared on my previous post about the prepping outfits for the entire week. I failed to mention that I work for a company that has NO dress code! That means we can wear whatever we want.

It can range anywhere from jeans and t-shirt, t-shirt and joggers, shorts and t-shirt or sundresses with flip flops. But I'm that girl that made up her own dress code. I like to be casually dressed-up everyday in dresses and or skirts with heels, not pants very often but when I do I'm sure to be in heels.

Even without a dress code and being able to wear whatever I still like preparing and putting some thought into the way I present myself. I've always been a girly girl, playing dress up. But dressing down in jeans and tees is not a crime.

Before, my coworkers got use to me coming to work all dolled up with heels they would ask me why do I dress the way I do and we don't have a dress code. I always replied because I like to, I'm not trying to impress anyone, I do it for me because I like it.

Dressing up makes me feel good even when I'm down or feeling under the weather I still like to look put together. I like feeling beautiful, high on confidence and comfortable in my own skin and dressing the way I like helps me with all of them.

As the quote says " There's nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself, comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me that is the true essence of beauty."

So I think dressing up is a woman's way of being herself! :) Highlites, how do you like to dress for the office? What is your preference? I hope I have inspired someone to do what you like as long as you are being yourself and comfortable. As for me, I'm feeling high on confidence in this tuell skirt and tee and black classic heels on repeat.

Thanks Highlites for stopping by and have a good day. See you next time.
